Some music makes you dance. Some music moves your soul. And then there is Gospel House: a sound that brings both worlds together, transforming the energy of House Music into something deeply emotional, uplifting and unforgettable.

This week, Juanra García presents a very special edition of IN DA HOUSE SESSION for Candybeach Records, dedicated to one of his favourite musical territories: Gospel House.

THE GOSPEL HOUSE EXPERIENCE is a journey into the spiritual heart of House Music, where powerful vocals, gospel harmonies, soulful arrangements and irresistible grooves come together to create an experience that goes far beyond the dancefloor.

WHEN THE SOUL SPEAKS THROUGH HOUSE MUSIC

Gospel has always possessed a unique ability to communicate emotions that words alone cannot express. Its voices carry joy, hope, strength and a profound sense of connection. When those elements meet the pulse of House Music, the result is a sound that can lift a room, unite a crowd and touch the deepest part of the listener.

This is the spirit behind THE GOSPEL HOUSE EXPERIENCE.

From uplifting vocal performances to deep, soulful productions, every selection contributes to a musical narrative built around feeling, rhythm and genuine expression. Hammond-inspired textures, powerful choruses, infectious percussion and the unmistakable warmth of Soul create the foundations of this special session.

There is no need for artificial excitement here. The music speaks for itself.

A SELECTION BUILT AROUND THE SPIRIT

Featuring music and remixes associated with influential names in the soulful and gospel-inspired House scene, this edition brings together the unmistakable contributions of DJ Spen, Gary Hudgins, Terrence Parker, Louie Vega and Yvonne Turner, alongside remarkable vocal talent including Ann Nesby, Kenny Bobien, Vonita White, Dawn Tallman and Loleatta Holloway.

From the uplifting message of “Come On Praise Him” to the spiritual energy of “Trust In God”, the powerful presence of “Baptize Me” and the emotion of “Oh Lord”, the selection explores different shades of Gospel House without losing sight of its central purpose: to make people feel the music.

“Shout!” brings another dimension of collective energy, while “Stand On The World” connects the experience to the enduring relationship between soulful expression and the dancefloor. The journey continues through the distinctive voices and productions that have helped make Gospel House such a powerful part of the wider House Music landscape.

The final selection, “The Promise”, closes the tracklist with another contribution to this celebration of soul, faith, vocals and groove.

Nine selections. One musical vision. One unmistakable connection between the soul and the dancefloor.

JUANRA GARCÍA — A LIFELONG CONNECTION WITH THE MUSIC

Behind IN DA HOUSE SESSION is Juanra García, a Madrid-based DJ whose relationship with music began with vinyl in 1980.

Rooted in Funk, Soul, R&B, Disco and the foundations of Black Music, his musical identity has developed around a simple principle: authenticity matters. His selections reflect a lasting commitment to the sounds, artists and musical traditions that continue to inspire him.

Through IN DA HOUSE SESSION, Juanra García brings that philosophy to an international audience, presenting carefully selected DJ sets dedicated to Soulful House, Gospel House, Funky House and Disco House.

His approach is not about following trends. It is about respecting the music, understanding its roots and sharing it with people who appreciate the difference between simply playing records and telling a story through them.

And when it comes to Gospel House, that connection becomes particularly personal.

MORE THAN A DJ SET. A CELEBRATION OF SOUL.

THE GOSPEL HOUSE EXPERIENCE is a tribute to the voices, musicians, producers and DJs who have brought the spirit of Gospel into House Music.

It celebrates the emotional power of a great vocal, the warmth of a soulful groove and the collective energy that makes this music so special. It is a reminder that House Music has always been about more than beats: it is about connection, expression and the feeling that something extraordinary can happen when the right music reaches the right people.

Because sometimes the dancefloor becomes a place of celebration, the voices become a choir, and the groove becomes something almost spiritual.

Presented by Juanra García for Candybeach Records, this special edition of IN DA HOUSE SESSION invites listeners to turn up the volume, open their minds and let the music take over.

This is Gospel House. This is Soul. This is IN DA HOUSE SESSION.
