Created, directed and presented by Juanra García, IDHS is a radio DJ set built around Soulful House, Gospel House, Funky House, Disco House and the wider spectrum of House music.
Rather than following a strict genre formula, each session is shaped around selection, groove, musicality and flow — bringing together records that share a common spirit even when they come from different corners of the House music spectrum.
A DJ SET BUILT AROUND SELECTION
At the heart of IN DA HOUSE SESSION is a simple principle: the selection comes first.
Juanra García approaches each session as a selector, carefully connecting records to create a musical journey rather than simply presenting a collection of tracks.
The result is a set designed to work both as a radio experience and as a genuine DJ journey — moving naturally between soulful vocals, deeper grooves, Gospel influences, Disco references and classic House energy.
SOUL, GOSPEL, FUNK & HOUSE
The musical identity of IDHS is deeply rooted in Funk, R&B, Soul and Black music, with a particular connection to the Disco and Funk sounds of the late 1970s and early 1980s.
Those roots continue to influence Juanra García’s approach to contemporary House music.
Soulful House, Gospel House, Funky House and Disco House become different points on the same musical map.
IN DA HOUSE SESSION is where those influences meet.
The emphasis is always on records with personality — music with groove, soul and a clear connection to the dancefloor.
THE ART OF THE SELECTOR
For Juanra García, House music has never been restricted to a single definition.
The history of House is built on connections: Soul, Funk, Disco, Gospel, R&B and electronic music continually influencing one another.
That philosophy is reflected throughout IDHS.
The objective is not to demonstrate how many styles can fit into one set. It is to find the musical connection between them.

Although IN DA HOUSE SESSION is created for radio, its foundation remains firmly rooted in DJ culture.
